Got my hospital bill today; I could buy a new car with the amount of money they're asking for. Considering the emotional mood I've been in, I'm kind of shocked I managed not to freak out when I opened the envelope. Guess it's my brain trying not to cope with something I can't deal with at the moment. Whatever. I'll probably break down tomorrow once those numbers set in, and the vodka is all gone.

In the mean time, I have about five episodes of Battlestar to watch. Oh, and finishing up my copy of House of Leaves, which is a much of a mind fuck as I thought it would be.

Wow.

Kripke, I know you don't have the budget for such awesomeness, but Battlestar blew Supernatural clear out of the water as far as a return from hiatus goes.

Just saying.

So much for my out on the town plans. Damn you cable ::fist shake::

My son, this year is almost over.

Main resolution for next year: Get back into drawing. Because I have about a million pieces I've started but never finished. Though I think I'll get out of portraits and go in a different direction. Maybe pin-ups. Probably with George Petty as a heavy influence.

So those six hours spent in line for early voting... totally worth it this election! To sum it all up, some guy from Georgetown had the perrrrrrrfect sign:

I didn't get to celebrate the Dems victory last night because I was glued to the TV (btw, John Stewart & Stephen Colbert together again. Be still my heart.) But I'm on my way out to my local watering hole for a PBR tallboy and too many Marlboros.

I don't envy the work Obama has to do in order to clean up the mess that is our country at the moment. So my drink goes to him.

On a less serious note but still just as serious b/c it's fucking Charlie Hunnam it's Wednesday!!! You know what that means? Sons of Anarchy (yes, I'm hooked and proud of it.) Can't wait to see my Gemma stick it to the man. But to tide me over until 10, I yanked this from peopleareshapes.

I'm done with this ramble. Here's to a better four years.

Squeeeeeeeeeeee!

I just spent the past week celebrating my birthday. And I do mean the entire effing week. I'm tired and hung over, and I should have gone to work today, but my body hurts and my carpal tunnel is acting up more then usual. And of course I left my wrist brace on my desk and said job. Meh.

Anyway, here are a few highlights I need to write down to remember:

- Strip clubs are fun. But I still don't see why guys get their jollies off over it.
- When your best friend tells you she's going to fill your bedroom with balloons, listen to her and stop her before the madness starts. I don't care how much liquor is in your system.
- Stay away from fire. Your are border line pyro!
- Authentic Mexican food is oh so good. But all those margaritas are really oh so bad the day after.
- Fall in Georgia = Perfection
- Nothing caps off an evening like a good game of cards out on the porch.
- Staying in town for your birthday for the first time in almost ten years isn't as bad as you thought it would be.

On another note, we started production meetings for the second half of filming 3d Shift. Which means my weekends are going to be ocupado to the extreme. I hope to keep writing despite the crazy schedule we have planned, but I can't make any promises. There are a few pieces on my hard drive that need to be finished and I plan on posting them soon. Look for those in the near future.

FYI- This time next week I'll be on the beach with a good book and a cold beer, and all the time in the world. I can't wait!
